Your Role:
The Senior Expert Software Engineers will be responsible for the company's internal and external front-end software applications. Specifically, duties include the following:

• Develop and maintain front-end applications for external and internal use
• Write maintainable and reusable code using React
• Work with backend service providers to consume RESTful (Representational State Transfer) web services into views, state stores models, and event-driven behaviors
• Collaborate with UX/UI Designers and HTML/CSS/JS Developers regarding consumption of RESTful web services
• Guide coding standards and mentor junior developers; and
• Maintain code quality through testing, code reviews and refactoring.
• Travel up 5%

Location: St louis MO - onsite Thursdays with the rest of the week working from home

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or a similar field
• 5+ years of experience working within progressively more responsible software development roles using JavaScript, React.js, Node.JS & Typescript

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated knowledge of JavaScript, including experience leading ES6/7 features and syntax, promises, and async programming patterns gained through at least two (2) years of work experience

• Demonstrated knowledge of modern CSS frameworks and responsive design gained through two (2) years of work experience

• Demonstrated ability writing unit tests and using Jest, Jasmine, Mocha, or similar tools, gained through two (2) years of work experience

• Demonstrated ability using Agile development practices gained through two (2) years of work experience; and

• Demonstrated knowledge of API driven development including REST, JSON, and HTTP methods, gained through two (2) years of work experience.
