External Description:
Your Role:
- Collaborate with technical project leads and customer-facing teams to ensure project requirements are met and deliverables are completed on time.
- Conduct filtration and virus inactivation studies, and perform virus titer assays to demonstrate virus clearance capabilities.
- Engage in data-driven problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Represent the team at technical conferences through attendance and presentations.
- Design experiments, execute tests, and author protocols and reports in compliance with good documentation practices in a biosafety level 2 (BSL-2).
- Provide technical input to project leads within Virology and PDP teams to meet project timelines.
Who You are
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biological or Applied Science, or other Life Science discipline
- 5+ years’ experience in downstream purification of diverse modalities (monoclonal antibodies, AAV and other parenteral drugs)
OR
- Master’s Degree in Biological, Applied Sciences, or other related Life Science discipline
- 3+ years’ experience in a downstream purification of diverse modalities (monoclonal antibodies, AAV and other parenteral drugs)
OR
- PhD in Biological, Applied Sciences, or other related Life Science discipline
Preferred Qualifications: ;.
- Strong understanding of the bioprocessing industry and regulatory landscape, with proven track record of problem solving and troubleshooting
- Proficient in virus filtration, chromatographic techniques, and cell culture, along with experience in virus quantification
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment fostering cross-collaboration and maintaining strong stakeholder management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrated through the ability to deliver technical presentations and articulate complex concepts clearly.
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications and statistical analysis tools to analyze complex datasets and support decision-making
- Experience in working with customer-facing roles and/or new product development activities.
- Proven track record of strong communication skills demonstrated through internal and external presentations promoting knowledge sharing within and outside the organization.
Pay Range for this position:$80,000-$146,500.
