External Description:

Your Role:

  • Collaborate with technical project leads on Product Development Project (PDP) teams to ensure project requirements are met and deliverables are completed on time.
  • Lead method development and improvement projects, evaluate new technologies and equipment, and facilitate training and technical transfers.
  • Engage in data-driven problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Represent the team at technical conferences through attendance and presentations.
  • Design experiments, execute tests, and author protocols and reports in compliance with good documentation practices in a biosafety level 2 (BSL-2).
  • Conduct chromatography, filtration, and virus inactivation studies, and perform virus titer assays to demonstrate virus clearance capabilities.
  • Provide technical input to project leads within Virology and PDP teams to meet project timelines.

 

Who You are

Minimum Qualifications:

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Biological or Applied Science, or other Life Science discipline
  • 5+ years’ experience in downstream purification of diverse modalities (monoclonal antibodies, AAV and other parenteral drugs)

OR

  • Master’s Degree in Biological, Applied Sciences, or other related Life Science discipline
  •  3+ years’ experience in a downstream purification of diverse modalities (monoclonal antibodies, AAV and other parenteral drugs)

OR

  • PhD in Biological, Applied Sciences, or other related Life Science discipline

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of the bioprocessing industry and regulatory landscape, with proven track record of problem solving and troubleshooting
  • Proficient in chromatographic techniques, molecular methods, and cell culture, along with experience in virus quantification
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment fostering cross-collaboration and maintaining strong stakeholder management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrated through the ability to deliver technical presentations and articulate complex concepts clearly.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications and statistical analysis tools to analyze complex datasets and support decision-making Experience in assay or method development and/or new product development activities.
  • Publication track record through internal and external presentations with experience in presenting research findings both internally and externally, promoting knowledge sharing within the organization.

 

Pay Range for this position: $80,000-$146,500.

The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses. Benefits offered by the Company include health insurance, paid time off (PTO), retirement contributions, and other perquisites.
