Your Role:

In your role as a Therapeutic Area Specialist, you will be at the forefront of our mission to enhance patient care through effective engagement with healthcare professionals. You will be responsible for achieving sales targets by developing and executing a strategic account management plan tailored to your assigned territory. This involves not only fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders, including reproductive endocrinologists, fertility specialists, and clinic administrators, but also ensuring that these relationships translate into improved patient outcomes.

 

You will engage in scientific dialogue, providing data-driven insights that clearly articulate the therapeutic benefits of our products. As the territory expert, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, medical affairs, and customer care, to inform strategy and enhance the value proposition of EMD Serono’s offerings. Your role will also require you to navigate both promotional and non-promotional discussions, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

Additionally, you will be responsible for reporting adverse events and product complaints, maintaining a high standard of safety and efficacy in all interactions. Your ability to understand and respect all relevant company policies, industry codes, and applicable laws will be crucial in this role. You should be prepared to travel up to 75% of the time to meet with healthcare professionals and stakeholders, ensuring that you are always present where your expertise is needed most.

 

Who You Are:

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

• Bachelor’s degree in scientific field (example: Biology, chemistry, pharma etc..) along with 5 years of sales experience in a specialty therapeutic area, preferably in pharma or biotech.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

• Proficiency in English and French aligns with territory requirements.
• Outstanding consultative-selling skills and have a proven ability to build and manage relationships with internal partners.
• Excellent communication skills enable you to engage effectively with customers, both in person and virtually.
• Self-driven, possess strong project management skills, and are proficient in CRM and Microsoft Office applications.
